Auto Hauler Program
The Auto Hauler Program is designed for automobile haulers engaged in the transport of new or used automobiles for auctions, auto leasing concerns and auto dealerships. The primary target of the program is the owner/operator and small fleets of vehicles designed to move multiple automobiles and trucks.
Eligibility
Trucks, tractors and trailers are eligible for coverage. Private passenger and service types are eligible as long as they are incidental to the fleet. These autos must be owned by the named insured and used in the business of auto hauling.
Unacceptable Risks
- Under-aged drivers are not allowed.
- Drive away auto or truck delivery operations are ineligible.
- Trip leasing is not allowed.
- Transportation of boats or recreational vehicles is not allowed.

Loss Ratios
- Eligible three year loss ratio of 45% or less, using current TUMI rating
Mileage
- 1-9 power units - Mileage statement needed
- 10+ power units - 1 year of IFTA statements prior to quoting
Auto Liability Limits
- $300,000
- $500,000

Trailer Interchange
- Limits are available up to $50,000 with deductible(s) of $1,000/1,000 or $2,500/2,500
Physical Damage
- Comprehensive and collision coverages are available on an actual cash value basis. The rating basis is cost new.
Motor Truck Cargo
- Limits can go up to $300,000 per load
- Loading and unloading covered - vehicles covered while driving to and from trailer
- Deductibles are per auto with $2,500 aggregate per occurrence
